I searched for a thick exercise mat because I wanted something that would cushion pressure points while performing exercises on knees or elbows etc. The padding in this is incredibly soft, if feels like a very thin duvet and offers very little absorption. Bitterly disappointed I purchased this one to replace an old foam mat which is just 12mm thick, which even after years of use it outperforms this York mat by so so much. Do not buy this, keep walking....

I needed a mat to workout on so I didn’t hurt my hips and joints. This looked great and it was the thickest I could find but it goes completely flat when I lay on it and ends up feeling like laying on a bin liner. I assumed it would be reinforced somehow to keep its shape and offer sufficient cushioning but sadly it doesn’t provide the support I need.

It's like trying to exercise on a plastic bag. Feels like it's going to tear at any moment. It's cold and the foam gives you no support. It may be 20mm thick but soon as you out any weight on it. It's 1mm. Not worth the money. A yoga mat would be better.

Not as described pre purchase or visual . I ordered a one piece mat but I was delivered a fold up mat, Item is flimsy, plastic baggish & without support, to touch it sounds like opening up a box of cornflakes. I had a broken knee cap & this offers no comfort /support what so ever.
