    Good purchase!

    This small anvil is good for small works with wire, for instance rings, earrings, etc. It is heavy but it is prepared (with four holes in its base) for being attached to a support base to give it more stability. It is very easy to store it anywhere, too. I like it very much!

    Not as shown in picture. Pure rubbish

    Ordered this for a couple of fiddly jobs I had to do. Firstly it is nothing like the picture. The whole anvil is covered in hammered finish blue paint. The shaping point is not pointed as shown it is only half as long as shown and very blunt and rounded off. Now, I use only copper of soft blow hammers, but for one little job I used a steel hammer. Every little tap left a dent on the anvil surface. This is nothing but cheap cast metal probably made from an old washing machine or a car. It has not been hardened in any way. Don't waste your money.
