Chalk-in-a-Box
I like that there are three colour choices for various fabrics. Easily visible. The useful carrying box is really great so the chalk does not get chipped along the edges which are used for marking the fabric. My previous tailor's chalk has been used for all kinds of DIY jobs around the house. Recently my grandson used it to mark one foot distances around a concrete pond in order to screw the plastic liner to the sides of the pond so it does not fall into the water. Chalk marks are visible on the concrete edges just above the fixing screws on the attached photo. 98 frogs really appreciate their improved surroundings !! I bought this new box for him as he is an Engineer who is always measuring bits from aeroplanes. Useful because the chalk is easy to remove afterwards.

Lovely soft chalk, comes in a nice assortment of colours so you can contrast it with your material. Great traditional shape so it's easy to hold. I like it very much and I would recommend it to other people.

Good quality chalk, had the cheap stuff before thinking it was all the same but it certainly isn't. Will last a long time. I do find it harder to remove from the fabric though so be careful where you use it.

Not very good at marking
Nice little package, but sadly I found that the chalks don't actually mark enough to see where you've drawn a line. It may be my fault for not understanding what they are capable of. I used to have one which was great and very visible.
