Handy Folding Sack Truck
The truck itself is ok. Strong and sturdy construction, and does what it's supposed to do. However, there are a couple of issues which, depending on your viewpoint may, or may not be important.
The folding toe has no mechanism to keep it locked in the "up" position so it just falls back down again when you're trying to store it. I got around this by wrapping a couple of long cable ties right round the frame, which can be slid over the toe to hold it to the frame, then slid up and tucked behind the handle locking levers to keep it out of the way when the truck is in use.
The toe blade would not rest down level, and was tipped slightly upwards at the end. I got around this by filing some off the two welds which act as stops for the toe blade. It now rests level with the ground when lowered down.
Due to the nature of the design it is quite hard to get the centre of gravity over the wheels, and you have to lower the handles quite a way down to achieve this. I think that this would be the case for ANY make of truck with large wheels, because the wheels have to be quite a way back to clear the load at the front edge, so I wouldn't let this put you off buying, as you'll get the same with any other large wheeled truck. Just be aware that if you need large wheels, as I did to use it on grass and uneven pathways then you will have to work around this issue.
Overall, this is a very good little truck, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it. For the price of this truck it is excellent value, and will serve me for many years to come.
