Works on Chromebook
I only need to use these wifi connections when I'm away on holidays and I get the deal which suits me from 3 mobile, that means roaming nearly everywhere I want to go for £40 a year (was cheaper). When I'm traveling I use a Chromebook rather than a windows machine or apple. In the past I've used the Hauwii Mi-Fi devices but I find the battery life on them is rubbish so you always have to have them mains powered :( I got this as an alternative so I can just shove it in the Chromebook and not have to worry about mains power. And best of all it just works with my Asus flip book. I will always use a short USB lead to connect it because I believe it gives me more flexibility for the signal, and I don't have to worry about breaking it off the connector. The only downside I can find with this device is that it gets warm, this means that it is obviously consuming power. I have not measured the difference in battery life for the Asus. All in all I'm rather pleased with the purchase, and I'll add it to my "traveling kit" along with the hauwii mifi, the Chromebook and the mouse.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Great on the go, tech to have with you.
It works and has a fairly big capacity so its fast enough for most on the go things that I do. Very pleased with the purchase, as I use it abroad, usually with a local sim to beat the absurd data prices my regular UK service provider charges when abroad. Overall, 5/5 from me because it ticks all the boxes. However, if I were to be picky, then I would say there is 1 glitch which doesn't actually make a difference while in use, is that the cap on it could be lost, if only it was fitted with an attachment slot or something it would have been perfect.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
