At last a refractometer I trust. I have a hydrometer a float type and a visual prism type refactor non matched it was a guessing game not any more. I love it!

Bought because eyes are getting older. Bigger than I thought it would be. Calibration solution for seawater is only showing a 1.024 instead of 1.025. Not sure which is wrong. Solution or unit itself. But within operating tolerances. Easy to use but bought so I could get precise measurements. Still have some concerns about its readings.

Easy and quick to measure. Steady readings. Much better than optical refractometer for indoor use, since does not need a strong light source like the optical.

Great product. Comes with two testing/calibration solutions (1.000 and 1.025) so you can make sure it is reading correct every time. I wish every aquarium tester was like this one.
