Great build and paint but a few caveats.
These are excellent recreations true to the cartoons the only two things that are challenging are: 1. They cannot stand on their own, they are meant to be posed and clicked down onto the stage you can buy. If you have met any 3-5 year olds, careful precise positioning of their toys isn't a Hallmark personality trait :) 2. The skirts are near impossible to snap on so swapping them around between ponies quickly becomes a huge chore and not one your 3-5 year old will do... my daughter tried and got extremely frustrated before just taking all of them off. I tried 4 times myself and found it frustratingly hard to do... They are made too short so wrapping them around their waists and then trying to use the rubber button, the skirt just isn't long enough to line up to get your finger behind to snap it. I would go so far as to say the skirts are borderline unusable UNLESS you just rest the on their waists and don't snap them on. As an example, imagine snapping a skirt on a Barbie that is SO TIGHT you cannot get your finger behind the snap to apply down force. It's like that but these aren't really snaps, they are rubber plugs that push into each other and just trying to push them together shows you they are too soft and foldy and just mush around. Not the end of the world, it is a well designed to and ALL THE JOINTS work which is nuts. Elbows, knees hips... They all work. That's cool, but it's why they can't stand on their own, also their heads are huge and heavy. Either way my daughter loves them, they get 4 stars!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
