Industry Standard DI Box
I don't have a trained ear to be able to hear the tonal differences between a $5 and a $300 DI box but I know folks that can, they play pro level stuff and this is the DI box they use. What that tells me is : - it works well - is reliable - has no audible issues - pro level piece of equipment I opened the cover and inside I found a small but very nicely made mini transformer, two 1/4" jacks, one metal cased male XLR jack (silver contacts) and some very cleanly installed wiring. The case is metal and has an excellent painted finish. The cover is secured by 4 screws and can be easily removed should the need to replace any of the jacks occur.
