Excellent Auto Welding Helmet
This helmet is plain, but admits plenty of natural light and instantaneously turns dark on striking the arc. When dark the arc is dimmed but the workpiece still shows up well. Cheap but not really everything you need.
Ok this mask was one of the cheapest available. It is solar powered so shouldn't need a battery change and is easy to take apart to repair or change the lense cover. There is a spare lense cover included. However, I've found that the lack of adjustment ( there a 2 settings for sensitivity and 2 for speed) is a pain and I am getting a bit of a flash at the first arc, suggesting that, even on the fast setting, it's not fast enough.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brilliant Auto Darkening Helmet!
I bought this to replace my other auto helmet which required a battery and had a light adjuster. What a great decision! This helmet has no battery or light adjustment and works brilliantly with great vision before striking arc, which was the main problem with my old helmet. Wish I’d bought this helmet ages ago! Too dark to handle
The helmet is lightweight but I did find it difficult to adjust low enough to get clear view of the job that I was welding,,may be an adjustment issue. The response time to darken is good,,but..when dark it’s too dark to see the job,had to resort to old glass window helmet.
