Great for above ground saltwater pools!!!
I only gave it 4 stars because there was a part missing in the package. It was the trap barrier that goes between the ladder and the inside of the pool. The brackets to mount it were there. Just remember, this is a plastic ladder, so don't over tighten the bolts.If you have a 52''above ground pool, it does get a little unstable at that height. I added 2x4's to the outside legs and it does not move at all. I like that both sides of the ladder raises and have a place to put a lock on both sides for safety. Just beware, watch your fingers when raising and lowering the steps,"they will bite". All in all, I still think this ladder is decent because I have a salt water pool so I needed an upgrade.It serves the purpose well so I'm pretty satisfied.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better than an intex ladder
It’s a step above the intex ladders. I needed a lockable ladder since I have young kids. The handles are very wobbly. The steps are much nicer and it has a nice size platform on the top. The ladder itself is supposed to get bolted down to pool. I improvised with zip ties since you can’t bolt to intex pool.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I weigh a few pounds over 300 and I think this ladder is sturdy enough to handle my heavy load! It wasn’t too hard to put together, even by myself. I like everything except the top handrail
I like everything about this but the handrail at the top. I think it was very flimsy and weak. I took some extra lumber I had and braced it and I think maybe the instructions should have something like this on it as an extra step if needed.
