Silverline 3 in 1 detector
This detector is not reliable for accurately detecting power cables in walls, which was the purpose I for which I ordered it. It gives a lot of false readings where there is no power cables in a wall. Even where there is a known power cable in the wall the reading is nowhere near accurate enough to guarantee that you would not drill through a power cable. I was using it on a solid wall. A MUST HAVE
I wouldn't dream of not having one of these in my tool box. I have heard too many stories of people drilling through pipes and cables and this certainly goes a long way in preventing that happening. Locate the cable or pipe and MISS it with your drill.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
