Well worth the money
Like the connectivity. Shame there's no 3.5mm output for headphones. I use the optical out from the TV with a optical to 3.5mm converter to use the headphones now. Like the fact I no longer have huge amplifier under TV. The coax input only receives a 2 channel signal, (it doesn't downmix), so you'll need to go to your equipment settings and alter the output to a PCM stereo signal. I have a Sony Bravia TV, A BRENNAN hard drive music player, A Sony bluray player, A Now tv box, A Freesat box and a Bluetooth music system which all work seemlessly together. Not HiFi but OK.
These are not HiFi quality speakers but they are much better than the single bluetooth ones you see everywhere. The sound is a bit 'bright' and there's no treble adjustment knob only a bass which doesn't do that much. There's also a 'gain' control knob but quite what that is supposed to do is anyone's guess it doesn't mention it in the small manual. The quality of construction is fine for the price and for a small room they're good value for money - just don't expect audiophile quality. Prefer it to my big amplifier and speakers
Really great sound, nicely balanced. Looks great in the wood effect. Bluetooth works well. There is nothing I don't like about them. I changed a £1000 Denon amp and 5 speakers for these! Please think of us with old eyes
The speaker sound is very good especially at the price. The power output is perfect for a small to medium size room. They are designed well and the finish is good. Voices and instrumental music sound natural. Manual my only criticism in that it is in tiny type. Big sound from little budget speaks.
For speakers at this price point they sound very nice, a lot bigger than they actually are. They have a well balanced range, crisp highs, clear mids, and plenty of low end for such a small cabinet. I also have the 3000 pro models and while not quite in the same league they are by no means a disappointment. Again the build quality is very good and finish is excellent. I only use these speakers via Bluetooth with my iPhone at this point, however reception is flawless and I've had no issues with dropout. Turn mixing singing voices from guesswork into a delight.
I'm mixing the singing of several voices sent to me during lockdown individually via WhatsApp together with the music of our church band. Decent speakers for the money
I took quite a while researching speakers for my pc within this sort of price point and these seemed to fit the bill. Good, easy reach adjustments for treble, bass and volume on the side of the speaker and decent power. Difficult to know whether they are the best without buying and installing all the others to compare but certainly not disappointed with what I have ended up with.
