I’m most impressed with this kettle. It boils much faster than my previous conventional type kettle.

First, the good points. It is very efficient. It's light. And it is pretty well made. So why do I give it one star. The problem is that the design is fundamentally flawed. If you boil "just enough" water for the job, and try to pour the last drop, the lid falls off, and you get scalded by the steam. So, it is basically unsafe. If you do buy it, you NEED to ensure that you keep pressure on the lid, to prevent this. This is a real pity, because without this flaw, I would give it 5 stars.

Extremely lightweight and boils very quickly. Used it the other day and am very happy with it. Only downside is the lid is a bit loose, but I will put a couple of little "dinks" and it will be fine.

The product shipped does not match the images. It actually has a thin layer of plastic on the handle, not a shaped handle as shown. The lid is actually an all plastic item that is too small, and falls out easily as soon as you tip the kettle - if filled with boiling water, this would be dangerous.
