this is a piece of kit I believe one cannot do with out, it trues the stone perfectly, if one has no other way to dress the stone then this is the way to go, ok it not cheap but when ones tools are razor sharp and work superbly the price tag will not matter, in my case I should have got the sort of tool years ago, I found one at a reasonable price so very pleased with my purchased, highly recommend this , if one has a Tormek then do it a favour and keep it well dressed. just bare in mind though it has some diamond in the head which makes for tall price, but do not be put off it is all that can do the job so precise.

The wheels wear unevenly, more so when used by inexperienced users, and sharpening becomes compromised especially for broader items - knives chisels and plane blades in particular.
