A functional helpful design; reasonable value.
Several years ago I bought a pair of these pliers from Silverline for removing spin-on oil filters (some cars and vans) and I thought I would treat my plumbing kit to a pair. They arrived quickly but one of the soft jaws was missing but not to worry as the supplier sent a replacement by first-class post. Although apparently identical to the original, this pair needs "tweaking" as there is something slightly different about them - making them seem comparatively stiff and awkward to use. They worked under my daughter's kitchen sink but one day soon I must take a closer look at them. not the easiest to use or the best made . but for it's price it's has very wide jaws and is good for medium gripping e.g plastic pipes and fittings . not the easiest to use in confined space . you would have to pay a lot more to get a better wide jaw waterpump plier .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
