  • CAN TAKE SOME ABUSE !

I bought one of these around 10 years ago under a different badge name. I paid £15 for it on a special deal at a local warehouse, bargain. The SDS part of it I can't fault. Plenty of power to drill masonary, break concrete up around old fence posts and drain covers. Did the job steady and had options to drill or hammer into concrete to break it up. I did find that the normal chuck head did fail quite quickly, but to be honest the SDS part to use with this chuck head is probably over kill and best to use a normal chuck drill for light work. On a few occasions I set the drill to hammer and forgot to turn on rotate but a masonary drill bit still hammered into a wall, that's how much power they have. It is a bit like a hot knife through butter. Mine failed in the gearbox part, just worn out as I was drilling a wide hole for a weep hole. I should have stepped up the drills, but went for the largest from the off, so my fault. I do have the motor from the old one, so decided to buy a very similar model so a spare motor if anything goes wrong ? Will take some abuse and still worth the money and should last you 5-10 years if you are a general DIY man.

  • none

Inside the box , there were no grease pot, drill chuck or chuck key, as stated on the initial order and on the bow, otherwise was ok.
