Condition:
Classic plumbers soldering mat should always be used when soldering in confined spaces to protect surroundings, skirting boards, walls and floors from scorching. Coating will withstand indirect flame contact to 1200C. Rothenberger 67022 solder mats are designed to protect surfaces from deflected heat surrouding a soldering operation. *Avoid direct flame contract to mat, as this will reduce mat life. *Avoid flame contact to stiched edges and unnecessary flexing after use for a short period. This solder Mat life is determined by heat intensity and concentration on a given area. Therefore should the mat surface glow red at the point of flame contact, we suggest repositioning the mat allowing unheated areas to be used.
