You can use it to chop a hole in almost anything that gets in your way. The penetration spike is curved so that it can break through hardened surfaces. In spite of this tool's small size, it can serve as an effective combat weapon. It weighs 23.68 ounces and has a sword-grade blade that is forged from 1055 high-carbon tool steel. The blade's length is 2.75 inches, and the hardness level is 50-55 HRC. Including the one-piece handle with a special spiked pommel, the tomahawk measures 10.25 inches long. The head is 6.5 inches in length and is attached to the handle with strong bolts. This device's highly advanced design reflects the influence of both military and law enforcement standards. At the tip of the Browning Shock N' Awe Tomahawk's handle is a lanyard hole in case you don't want to use a sheath and belt clip. Otherwise, you can adjust the Tek-Lok molded polymer sheath and clip lock to fit your belt loop width. Once you find a comfortable angle, you can carry your Black Label tomahawk with ease. You can pull it out at a second's notice and get a solid grip thanks to the cord-wrapped handle. It is handcrafted with tough nylon paracord. Browning Shock N Awe Tactical Tomahawk
Ok,, so I got my Browning Shock N Awe Tactical Tomahawk today. 1st thing is I was surprised how small it was, not in a bad way, small. Il elaborate. The pics on the net and videos make it appear little bigger than it actually is. But once you hold it in your hand it has weight to it! It has a very comfortable feel, very easy to grip tightly and small enough to maneuver and be effective striking weapon. Even when you turn the tomahawk around in your hand to use the spike the handle is still comfortable and does not feel awkward and I have large hands. What no one mentions and what the pics don't show is the handle is wrapped in what looks and feels like leather under the nylon wrapping. I seems to give it a fuller more comfortable and secure feel IMO. I looked around at a lot of other tomahawks before I bought this one and kept coming back to the Browning each time. Sure I could spend 400 bucks and have a top end tomahawk but I wanted to be able to buy other things and not break the bank on just one item. This thing is made exceptionally well, small enough not to be cumbersome, heavy enough to reap damage and still have control. All one piece solid steel not stainless steel so it can be honed much sharper and easier, balanced and weighted well when thrusting forward and pulling back and the price is definitely spot on. So, whether your chopping small trees for a lean-to when you out in the woods or you splitting someone skull open this tomahawk seems to be a very well made and effective multi-tool.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Little axe big might!
Brownings shock and awe is just that on a smaller scale. Even though it's a smaller size it is heavy and stout. Right out of the box it took the hair off my arm. A very sharp blade. But the neatest thing is the sheath, a polymer of course with some of the ingenious belt and web gear attachments I've ever seen. The ways to mount this tiny axe are endless. I like the smaller size as it's of course less weight than it's big brother shock and awesome.
