Perfect for doing skirting hard to get in between windows great item highly reccomend I wiped the edger every time I used it with kitchen towel as paint does go on it a bit still great item

Other Uses
used this before but not for painting. Found it great for wallpapering smoothing carefully over wallpaper to get out any air bubbles works a treat. also is perfect for top & bottom edges using this to ensure paper edge on ceiling & skirting board is tight in corner you can hold this flat against paper then using a retractable knife you can use this as a guide to give you perfect top & bottom edges. you need to change the blade after a few strips of paper but gives you professional results.

Disappointed
Its a bit too flexible - difficult to keep a clean paint line. Used it for about 5mins then discarded it. Wished I just stuck with using old cereal packet - it works just as good and you do not need to worry about cleaning afterwards.

Had one of these before but couldn't find it so bought another one, it's a very useful tool especially for painting skirting boards so as not to get paint on carpets it's also good for doing straight lines in corners when using two colours of emulsion. I always have a cloth with white spirit on to wipe the guard though when glossing. Would recommend this guard.
