  • Blending Heaven..

This might sound strange, but when you first take one out of the box...you just want to eat it.. Dont worry, I didnt, but it is because they feel so soft and are the perfect size to hold and guide in the way you wish, on your canvas. You have to know exactly what you plan to do with these Graphite sticks, as for some people they may be to crumbly or, in a way, "too" blendable. The great thing is though, they do not crumble in your hands at all, it is just powdery on canvas. For me personally, these work really well with hard charcoal for outlines and then using the graphite to blend. Obviously, the colours in this set are quite dark and are very close in shade difference. This is perfect for landscapes, maybe bad weather skies, shadows etc. As far as I am concerned, there is only one "Con" out of Pro's and Cons, the fact that it is quite hard to contain your blending to a small area, no matter how little you use. But on the other-hand, that would be ideal for large areas. Anyway hope this helped a little. Enjoy!

  • Great Graphite

Graphite blocks are fab-u-lous, adaptabale, easy to use and delicious to use. The colours are great and I now want to buy the other set with the white block. Best for use on big drawings as they are chunky. Worth every penny and will last for a long time. signed An artist, three of my friends have also bought them after they saw mine!
