Small pond- small pump
Finally got round to setting our pond in a pot water feature up. Used small tin bath with 5 plants & this little fountain pump is ideal. Decent size solar panel powers it provided it’s in full sun always, but the back up batteries take over instantly should it cloud over.. Seems well made , plenty of accessories for different fountain displays..

Works well when the sun shines
Needs full sun to work properly, then produces maximum throughput 350l/hr. Loses power even if slightly overcast, although battery power can be used. There is no auto switchover which is a pity, has to done manually. Don't expect too much from it then its fine, small pump which fits in small spaces on water features. Variety of top fittings allows choice of 'fountains' Fair value for money compared to similar but more powerful models.

Works well but fragile
This is the second one of these pumps that we used to create a trickle of water from a stone. We had the pv system replaced under warranty, but after two years use (taken out for winter) it does not work despite volts at the output, and finite resistance across the pump. However it does exactly what we want and we have bought a replacement.

Fun, reliable little solar pump kit.
Have had one of these for three or four years and still working well. I clear the filter once during the summer and take it out for the winter. This is my second. Have installed it in my latest water feature/pond, to keep the water moving gently. Very happy with the result.

Hozeolock Cyprio Cascade 300 - Not worth it!
Its ok, but you may get better performance from the many others availble. Not worth paying the extra money for Hozelock. Tubing for solar panel broke during assembly - very weak/thin plastic.

Tbh I bought this last summer. And it's still working great. I have a small pond and it's perfectly sized for it. It would be too small for a large or medium pond unless you used several. If you have a small pond and want to smarten it up a bit this is a nice piece of kit.
