Poor pup.
My poor dog was plagued by hotspots all over his body. He was whimpering and scratching for a few days before the product came. Once it arrived, I immediately tore open the package and sprayed every area profusely. I again sprayed every area 6 hrs later. The old product was great
I do not know why the company changed from the old great formula to this new stuff. The old yellow Sulfodene was the best . I have used it on my dogs for over forty years . That was a real five star product. I rated he new product "of good quality" because there was no "neither good nor bad" . I take it that the new formula is more profitable for the manufacturer to make, but only if the people continue keep on buying it . Works great in hard to get to areas!
Our dog had a red and irritated "hot spot" in one of his front arm pits. We have used the Sulfodene shampoo before with good results and tried this due to the location of the affected area. Worked great and the area is now virtually 100% back to normal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better than expected
There is absolutely nothing better than this product! I ordered because they no longer sell what I used to use for hot spots and this product worked excellent. I recommended it to a friend in Florida and her Pitbull mix' skin healed using this after steroids prescribed by the doctor didn't work. This also works on hot spots and flea dermatitis. I like the non-spray solution better
I have been using suffodene for years when I have a dog that gets itchy and inflamed and it always seems to work. The bottled solution to me seems stronger and covers the hot spots better than the spray. This is the first time I bought the spray and I was disappointed that it did not seem to coat the dog's skin.
