Nice Scope for price
Optics seem good out to 300 yards or so. Side focus is hard to turn and varies in accuracy. Elevation and windage adjust well, with clear clicks easy to read, and seems to track well. Very pleased with these. It is a light weighted scope, which is sweet, I guess. I'm an old coot, I equate quality and ruggedness with weight, to some large extent. The BDC seems to work well, once I realized it was NOT the same as the Vortex BDC Scope I have on my AR15. That one has the circles equating to 300,400,500, 600, and shot well with the first circle on 300. I bought this scope at the same time I purchased a Mueller. I would buy this scope again for mid-range shooting........but I would buy the Mueller again first.......already thinking of getting another one. This scope has the first BDC circle at 200, at least on my Remington 270 Win, and the second circle hitting well at 300. I expected them to be the same as the Vortex, but no worries.......they seem very accurate and consistent as they are, all I need is for my memory to work with all these variables.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great scope!
The prostaff 5 3.5-14x40 is the icing on the cake! This scope performs as it says and is worth every penny if you are looking for quality. Very clear and is phenomenal during low light conditions. For my purposes it was the perfect choice to finish assembling my tool.

Nikon glass is best value for money
Almost everything on this scope is perfect. The exception is the BDC reticle. I prefer a fine crosshair. Eye relief is advertised as constant at 4inch but I have noticed a small reduction when at max magnification. This is a quality unit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
