It's not what we expected
We've had this product a number of times before and always been happy with them (they wear out or get broken eventually but what doesn't?). No the difference with this one is that it takes much longer to reach the relevant temperature going up in relatively small increments whereas previous models were much quicker, almost an instantaneous correct reading with fine-tuning to a precise figure within a few seconds thereafter. Ex quality & I calibrated it fine
These are simple but effective and I bought mine for work therefore had the two of them calibrated when my water testing company came to audit.
