Ports filler handle
To replace the handle you need to pop out the end plastic cap(not provided when buy a new handle so keep it safe) the there is a Phillips screw, which will be difficult to remove due to the high temperatures the handle rises to. If you can unscrew this because the handle will be unstable if not screwed back firmly. Mine broke and even with super glue it doesn’t hold but the handle in itself is fine

hard to attach
It's fine. It's a plastic handle which slides on as described. In order to tighten the screw to keep it there, however, you need a very long wrench type thing to reach inside. I borrowed a neighbour's.
