They are comfortable, more than enough volume for even the very hard of hearing like me..They beat all others hands down, even the TV Ears. They are lightweight enough that they are not uncomfortable hanging down onto your chest. The headphones provide a way to increase the volume for the wearer without making the TV louder. There is still some issue with clarity but they do help with hearing the TV better.
