Best low pressure thermostatic shower bar I've had
Very well made and finished. Sturdily built. The unit was fitted as a third replacement because each of the others failed in one way or another after about three years use. This happened despite the fact that we have a water softener fitted which is always kept in full softening mode. The Grohe was easy to fit to the 150 mm centres hot(left) and cold (right) feeds. It gives precise temperature control. The flow rate on our low pressure (only 2metres head for hot and cold) system is about 50% up on each of the old shower bars making for a better shower experience. Because of our low water pressure we use a shower hose with the largest internal diameter we could find - 11mm ID - so as to get the best flow rate. The Grohe has only been in service here for two weeks so I can't assess reliability but it does come with a manufacturer's warranty.
