    Seems to be as good as mats that cost 10 times as much!

    Good product, seems to be at least as good as mats that cost up to 10 times as much. I drilled and riveted an earthing point (ESD) to mine - it works great as an anti-static mat for electrics and computer upgrades/repairs. It also gets used for model making and cutting paper and card with a scalpel. Don't be put off by the fact it comes rolled up - leave it overnight and it will flatten out, or heat it gently with a hairdrier if you can't wait.

    Strong, long and lasts for ages.

    I no longer leave knife marks over whatever I decide to rest my project on whilst I cut it. This cutting mat has proved very useful. I use it for everything that involves using a knife or sharp edge. I use it with the cutting wheel I have for sewing and many other things.

    Really pleased with this great big A1 cutting mat, half the price of some mats but so far I'm very pleased with it and would highly recommend it, I use it for cutting fabric using a rotary cutter, already had A2 but was always worried about the rotary cutter sliding off the mat and straight into the leather top of our antique desk
