Got these and used them to adapt a door to accept a bigger lock Very sharp and kept their edge well One down side is that the handles are all a sort of rubberised plastic when tapped with a hammer the chisel handles started to show stress, chipping and marking They are good enough though for the non professional like myself

This is quite an impressive set of chisels for a very reasonable price. All the chisels require sharpening before they can be used (which is not made clear in the product description) and the lack of written instructions on how to do this is a let down. The honing guide and whetstone are of reasonable quality and it is possible to achieve a degree of sharpness with them but it requires practice and research on YouTube!

wondering at first if I had bought the right chisels! when they arrived well presented case, looked impressive, as with all chisels they needed honing in, simple in the case there was a honing tool & oil stone, soaked the oil stone overnight, honed the chisels, job done very sharp chisels to work with. they do come from china but do not let that put you off, just buy & try

Bought these to replace some cheap ones which only 24 hrs. They come well packaged in their own storage case. You do need to sharpen the chisels before using them, everything is there to do this.The angle you need to sharpen is printed on the side of the sharpening guide, I had to use a little emery cloth to make it more visible. Overall it’s a quality set for the money and definitely recommend to others.
