So Simple But So Brilliant
I’m very new to woodworking and I was actually looking for one of those metal bars that are used to hold things on the top of your bench. Then I saw these and ordered four for about half the price of a metal thingy (see I am new). So far I’ve found them incredibly simple to use, they are very strong and very versatile. Easy to use bench hold-down for 20mm hole.
Easy to use bench hold-down for 20mm hole. Bottom has a plastic nut with two button that let it slide up and down when pressed but let you screw up the nut for extra pressure. The top has a toggle that enables quick release and re-clamping for multiple pieces at the same thickness. As with all toggle systems, it requires use of some packing with very thick pieces.At around a £5 each they are similar in price to the cheapest clamps but far easier and quicker use and especially to reposition through the holes in the bench.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great price and really handy clamps, especially stable for working with long pieces of timber. Can vary the amount of pressure for gluing or cutting but they are much lighter than my heavy 'G' clamps.
