Best amp for your money, easily overpowers much more expensive brands!!
XLS series are amazing amps for any use, lightweight, durable, and more power than you'll probably ever need with crossover options for high pass and low pass biamping, the end all amp for my needs, period. Impressive
I bought the 1502 based on other reviews and I am not disappointed. The internal. Crossover setup is very easy and solved my low frequency amp requirements. Its part of my home 2 channel setup. Lightweight Crown rackmount Power amp
Downsizing from my heavy pro power amps - this is a lightweight minimal depth standard 19" rackmount unit. I was surprised they had RCA inputs but and XLR but I would have preferred the XLR / 1/4" combo - assume the RCA is the expectation of just DJ / home stereo? Lightweight with great Features!!!!!!!!!!
I'm using this amp to drive a pair of Magnapan 3.7'. They have a lot of power and it's clean. They are a class D amp so there's not a lot of weight and they are 90-95 per cent efficient. I'm hearing instruments which were in the background and my former amp didn't bring them out. I would recommend this amp to anyone wishing to upgrade their system for not a lot of money. The amp has a lot of high end items which would cost 3-5 times more to get. Balanced outputs, internal crossovers both high and low. Bridgeable for mono, which ups the power by 2. This is the 1st new amp that I have bought in 44 yrs. and I'm very pleased with the sound and quality of this amp. Treat yourself to an upgrade in sound. powerful
I had an onkyo 504 before this, but my cat got sick on it and pow it was gone. Couldn't find anyone close that I trusted to repair it so I put it back until I do. I figured I would buy this amp to get me through. It definitely fits the bill. I am super impressed with how authoritatively it drives my home subs. I understand it doesn't have the smooth clean power my Onkyo has, but watching movies the explosions are solid and catch me off guard like a real life explosion would. Adds a new dimension to action movies. It still plays well on music, but you can hear the harshness compared to the Onkyo. However it is a PA amp and it delivers well beyond my expectations. Love it. This amp isn't just a good amp for the money. It/s just a good amp. Period.
This amp represents incredible value. I am using it for home audio to drive low sensitivity vintage speakers. This amp has brought those speakers to life with more detail and dynamics than I have ever heard from these speakers. The speakers are original made in Canada Energy Pro 22 Reference Connoisseurs (circa 1990) The Crown XLS series of amps are highly recommended for home use. Do not fear the Class D amp!
