Its light but does take awhile to dry. However its better to have this unit if the customer wants their carpet dry. I would do the furthest room and soon as Im done, I would start this fan up as it does take awhile. The fan is only good for a 1 per room. I also do have the larger unit which is heavy but drys the carpet at a much faster speed and can cover more room at the same time if you were to located in the the middle of the hallway.
While the quality seams to be in line with Driez products the Air Pod just doesn't provide enough air flow. While being small & light it needs to be about 4-6" bigger to really do what I was looking for. I have an Studebaker Air Path that is just too big and weighty for my customers needs. I use the blowers mainly for drying carpets at the end of my carpet cleaning.
Good for small area, to help dry by air . But if you have wet basement, dehumidifier will be better or both. I think it to extensive for fan/work. If it cost less, I would have one more for my basement. And it's loud for house, not bad for basement.
