Dual H/R Monitor
I prefer this type to the more expensive Garmin H/R monitors, as you can remove the monitor from the strap when you wash it, you can’t do this with the others. Good quality product but in my opinion Garmin should do some soul searching and re-engineer their chest straps.
This is not my first Garmin HRM 4 product so I am talking here from experience. Just like Garmin never till now managed to improve on the accuracy of the HR measurement from the wrist watch, they never managed to improve the durability of their straps. For example I cannot understand why in this day and age their straps rely on disposable batteries which to remove you need to remove small screws which are easily lost and cross threaded. In addition to this there is an o-ring which needs some dexterity to remove and replace. There is also the additional problem of sweat. With respect to readings it is accurate although one can get issues with technical shirts based on synthetic fibers. However if you use it on a regular basis be prepared to change it after 8 months.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent for training! Regular for monitoring.
It is very good product, but I think more usefull product is Garmin HRM Tri. With internal saving results. But remember - It is trade off with advanced dynamics capability at running (in this product)... if you have appropriate registator(fenix 3 for example). It is only Ant+ and no BLE capability. I is restricted in programs for serious hrv analysing. There is only Elite HRV. It is awersome... but I would like to use some additional products. Resume: awersome product for training - really!
