Cleansweep g2 is a solid product. Performs well. Well resilient against heat-warping: even when turning the discs bleu, it stays true. And because of the relatively high brake-surface area: long lasting (wear resistant). Surface area is distributed fairly evenly (as a function of diameter), so brakepads will heat-up and wear evenly too. (and cleansweep-G2 takes all pad-compounds) Gets rid of trapped dirt quite well, so stays true to its name. Therefore it will retain a high 2nd hand resale value (when undamaged). However: tends to have turkey-wobble noise on dual- and quad-piston calipers, but for single-piston and mechanical calipers this is, as far as I know, never been an issue. (this is due to the disc-flex principle in the latter: The inner pad is fixed, the outer pad pushes the disc against the inner pad by slightly flexing the disc. Therefore "prestressing" it and preventing the "wobble sound". Eg. in the Avid BB7 caliper this can be clearly observed). Product is as described by Avid/Sram. Great no-nonsense disc for most (non pro) duties. (pro's will be wanting newer/lighter/cooler/sexier discs anyway) It has now been superseded by newer cleansweep models....Read full review
