You will absolutely need this tool, if you're going to install Propex tubing in your home, and I've discovered over the years, that buying a new tool to do the job, is usually the best policy. Glad I bought used
As a mostly DIY user I don't put this tool through its paces. If it weren't for the much-discounted eBay price for this used unit it wouldn't be worth the difference between propex/Uponor and other pex systems. And while I say it's not a great value for the DIY right now, ask me when I'm sweating and bug-bitten in the crawlspace whether making fast easy connections is worth the money and I'd probably say it's worth double.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Makes fast work of a long job
When I decided to go with Uponor AquaPex, it meant I needed to either purchase or rent a specific tool for the job. I had 3 options, and after researching them all, Milwaukee was the obvious choice. While more expensive, it offered the most complete expansion with the rotating heads. This kit contained 1/2", 3/4", and 1" heads, 2 batteries, and the charger. The one I purchased was used, but it works flawlessly. I am about 1/3 of the way through a whole house replumbing, and I haven't had to swap or recharge the battery yet. Everything wonderful and more!
This tool saved so much time and effort. And, no leaks!!! We did the whole house from end to end without even a drip! We were able to get into all the tight spaces as well. Can't imagine doing all this with a hand tool...just too many angles. This is the best tool to come along.
