Not worth the money.
This is an obviously discontinued item. Cuisinart is a great name, this item - not so great. I tried to get additional fruit leather trays, no such luck. The unit is an oval shape and no replacement/additional trays are available anywhere for it. I searched all over! It works ok, not the best I've used. It takes awhile to dry things that should just take a couple of hours and it is quite noisy. Would not buy it again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Great for drying herbs and food
The cuisinart food dehydrator has really been a food and herb saver here in north Georgia where we have very high humidity. I sell dried herbs on my website Every Green Herb and this makes it possible to do more since I don't have to worry about mold!!! I works great although I may need two of them or more than 5 trays next year.
