Great addition to a moden Streamliner
I bought a modern made Streamliner as a husk, and decided not to install a Bigsby tremolo that the guitar comes with stock. I put this tailpiece on it to be more like the original 60's Gretsch, and definitely got that particular combination of sustain and chime they are famous for. It fit perfectly, looks great, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

A nice, value tailpiece for your Gretsch.
This is a really nice piece! It is heavy and flawlessly chrome-plated. I replaced the Bigsby on my 5120, and noticed an immediate improvement in tone. No part of this tailpiece rests on the top, which allows for better vibration. Only 1 issue: it's not quite a direct replacement. The strap button hole lines up, but the others do not. You will have to drill 3 new holes to attach this tailpiece. To me this was no big deal. This one covers up the Bigsby holes, and If I return the guitar to factory the Bigsby will cover the new holes I drilled. Just be aware. Pleased with the quality....
I was pleased to receive my Gretsch tailpiece in a timely fashion, well-packed, and exactly as advertised. My only suggestion is that the three pre-drilled mounting holes be slightly larger to accommodate the screws included with the tailpiece.
