Better than my last toaster now I've worked out which settings and slots to use to properly brown toast all over both sides so fine now. Biggest drawback is colour settings control. This toaster toasts more on one side than the other. On completion when the toast pops out you have to catch it as it flys so high. Its difficult to get smaller items out even when raising the lever. SIMPLE TO USE
TtHE FIRST TOASTER DELIVERED WAS FAULTY AFTER 3 USES. THE RIGHT HAD SLOTS OVERHEATED WITHIN SECONDS AND THE TOAST BURST INTO FLAMES WITHIN 20 SECONDS. BROWNING CONTROLS MADE NO DIFFERENCE. CONSIDERED IT TO BE A VERY DANGEROUS DEVICE WITH A MASSIVE FIRE RISK. RETURNED IT TO :HUGHES DIRECT WHO SENT ME A REPLACEMENT. THE REPLACEMENT IS FINE WITH NO PROBLEMS.
