Replacement shaver head unit - weel worth getting
I have had my Philips RQ11/60 razor for around three years, and had never replaced the head, although Philips recommend doing so every two years. I immediately noticed the difference after using the new head. The shave was quicker, easier and closer. You don't realise how these things gradually degrade over time. I would definitely recommend getting a replacement head if you have had yours for more than two or three years. The only problem is the price. Perhaps not what I expected.!!
I expected a genuine Philips replacement set of RQ11 SensoTouch Heads - at a charge of £39.99 - but - I rather think that - after over fifty years of using Philips Electic Razors - that the heads sent to me were the ones that are copies - and on sale at £29.99. They were dispatched in a Philips ( Norelco) box but on a plain fawn coloured Card with no markingsor printing at all !! DREADFUL PRODUCT
Let me put this simply. This replacement shaver head does not shave. It makes a noise but doesnt shave, its absolutely awful. Also the 3 sections which are supposed to spring up and down do not do this when the head is clipped on to the base. I could not believe how bad it was. I keep thinking it was something I was doing wrong but no. As you draw the shaver over your skin it makes a noise which doesnt sound right and just doesnt do any cutting. I only bought this because I thought it was an original philips part and would be better than a chinese import. If I could send it back I would but it comes with no paperwork at all.
