Very effective but not silent.
I bought this as the fan in my utility room was not up to the task - it is much more effective and is a very good extractor fan. The only issue is that it is a bit noisy - this is clearly documented in the details 39.2dB(A) - but this is a bit louder than I was expecting and is due to airflow - which reflects how effective it is. The fan is 2 speed and seems very well built - I suspect it will last ages. It was easy to fit and looks good in my opinion. I am very pleased with my choice but I think I can only give 4 stars because it is not at all silent.

Easy installation
Bought to replace an existing vortice extractor fan in a friend's bathroom. It was a simple enough swap over as all the mounting holes lined up. However I purchased the model without the timer board, as the model descriptions/ part numbering are not very clear on the website. However I was able to remove the timer board from the old unit and wire into the new one. The fan is quiet and powerful also quieter the previous version.
