A venerable kit still worth the effort
The kit is showing its age - so needs some care when assembling - but the model looks every inch a Vulcan, and as far as I know still the only injection-moulded plastic kit around of the Mk 2. I've made two others, so know the small adjustments that need to be made to attach the massive and complex-shaped wings correctly. Still a good kit, but outclassed by the Airfix Valiant and Victor. From a manufacturer of Airfix standing this is a dreadful example of what should have been a good experience. Most of the pieces required to be "de-flashed" due to poor manufacturing process. There were quite a number of joints that did not match up thereby requiring "putty" to be applied to disguise the gaps.
