Better than stuff twice the price.
I've not been such a fan of Yongnuo, but they have really hit the spot with the YN300 series. Portable, durable, dimmable, battery-powered, bright, accurate 95 + CRI (color rendering index) , cost effective, and now you can control a set of three individually. You can hold them, with handles that fit on standard lightstands, or mount them on a camera/rig for the run and gun. For the price, I've been blown away ever since the original YN300s, and they've improved with every upgrade. I generally use an Aputure 628s as my Key light, with three of these little bad boys for a fill, hair and background. The results are up there with hugely more expensive setups.
