Just like the red ones you rent.
Does a fabulous job on dirty carpets. Even better than the rental machines because you don't have to return it. The only thing we can't explain is why we waited so long to purchase one. It's worth every penny not having to hassle with rentals and returning them. Half the time when you pick them up they are still filthy from the last renter. Excellent little machine
Excellent little machine. Cleans well and sucks a lot of water from the carpet as well. This little machine has saved me so much money in the long run. No need to run back and forth to rent a steam cleaner. Great to have the hand held attachment as well. All stairs, furniture and vehicles are sparkly clean. If you spend a lot of time at home, have carpet, have pets, or even guests, then there are really only two basic choices for maintaining carpeted areas......hire Stanley Steamer or a comparable service to handle your carpet cleaning, or do it yourself. If the latter is more appealing, then the wide track rug doctor is the best solution that I have found.
