Browning 22SA Takedown Rifle and Case
I recently purchased a beautiful Browning 22 semi-automatic rifle from Cabela's in Billings, MT. I have wanted this gun for years and finally bit the bullet and ordered one. I wanted the special case Browning makes for the rifle which breaks down into two pieces. Cabela's did not carry the case but I did fined the case, brand new and at a great price, on eBay. I checked with the manager of the Billings Cabela's and he gave me permission to have the case sipped directly from my eNay seller to his store. Both were there waiting for me when I picked them up and I'm very happy with both.

Sturdy and great looking case.
The look and feel of this case is top notch. The interior material is excellent and the Browning 22 fit is just right. However, overall quality of the unit is lacking. The rivets for the base of the handle needs adjustment and the keys were very difficult to fit. I was thinking of shaving the keys with a dremel but decided against it. It's good that I didn't, because once I've 'broken the keys in' the lock works just fine. I expected more for the price that I paid.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Why did I wait soling to buy

Classic case for a classic rifle
Saw my first Browning BA-22 when I was 12 years old, but way out of my league price wise. But some 50 years later my wife bought me one for Christmas. Great case for my 1968 Belgium SA .22
Better built and heavier than anticipated. Quality look and feel. Good value if you don’t pay suggested retail price. Good supplement for the case I use for the range or field. I just use iron sights, it would probably have limitations on the size of a scope if mounted.
