Seymour Duncans are always awesome
Picked up an Epiphone Firebird, a nice, well made guitar. But the stock pickups sounded thin and fizzy to me. Popped the SM-1B in the bridge slot and the guitar immediately came to life. I've been a believer in Seymour Duncan's "vintage" pickups for 20 years now, they always get the job done
