Surprisingly Good for what they cost
Although typically 'cheap and cheerful' the loupes actually work very well, and allow you to view items in the range of 5X, 7X, and 10X magnification. For most simple tasks this works well, and I prefer this type, that is 'held' in place by the eye socket, therefore allowing hands to remain free. I was pleasantly surprised, especially as I had anticipated them being Chinese tack. (I also bought separately, a 30X folding 'Jeweler's Loupe which is like a clear marble, and so powerful that apart from in the exact centre it distorts by curvature).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job
Sensibly priced. Optics are easily good enough for general work. The only criticism is that the outer rim diameter is too large to hold in the eye and requires being held by one hand, which is a handicap when used for two handed work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A cheap and cheerful set of loupes
This set does what it says, they are pretty good at magnifying for circuit board fault finding. The surround is a little rough, perhaps a rub down with wet and dry will help. Good enough quality
Not brilliant quality but good enough for what I needed - a project to make an eye-level viewfinder to fit over the LCD screen on my camera. Magnifications quoted are suspect
I already had a 4x magnification eye loupe and was looking for a stronger one and these seemed to be the answer. However even the 10x one seems to be no more powerful than my existing 4x one. Magnifying lenses
As others have said, these are good for close up work provided you have the knack of being able to hold the lens in place with your eye.
