Got this for my mom who had a stroke and has no use of her right side. Since this is motorized I can strap her feet in and let it do the work which helps her circulation. Its not the strongest motor and if it lasts only 6 months it was worth the money. My only complaint would be the pedal straps. They are plastic and adjustable, but since i have to pull them really tight to hold her foot on the pedal we have already stretched it to the tightest slot. Also it is pretty light and the non skid pad does not really hold it in place so I put a 30# weight behind it to help it stay in place. But all in all it is good therapy for my mom and glad I bought it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Unsafe for most
Although it seems to be reasonably well built, there is a serious flaw. The motor regulates SPEED instead of resistance. Once one's feet strapped in it is not possible to remove them unless you stop the machine. That is dangerous for an older person who wants to use it for what it is intended.....excercise. Unlike a cycle your legs get no real excercise because they are being rotated without having to put in any effort. Caution, if bought from USA to Europe there is a voltage difference with no warning or solution to rectify.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This bike is excellent. It is very beneficial for seniors and some what sedentary people. The power assist is great with helping you move your legs, hips knees and ankles. Great little bike
