    Great Slicer

I have only had this machine for two weeks but have already used it several times. I have sliced meat and home made bread. This is primarily why I bought the product. I am very impressed by the results so far. I have sliced up both a gammon joint and a pork joint. These were both cooked in a slow cooker so were very tender. I did not attempt to slice them whilst hot. Slicing the cold meat was very impressive. It cut even slices and made the meat go a long way. Likewise with the bread. Don't try to slice it whilst hot. I found that for bread you are better to use the maximum width setting and it slices fantastically. The only small downside is cleaning the machine. It needs a lot of care after slicing meat to make sure you get into all the little nooks and crannies. If you use a fairly stiff washing up brush it does the job beautifully. With the bread I found that a softish pastry brush does the job well. It takes a little time after each use but it's worth the small amount of effort involved. Overall this is a very good slicer. The build quality is excellent and the price, compared to other budget options is superb. If you have the room to store this machine I would say "Don't Hesitate Go for it"

Just a basic slicer. Nothing to rant on

Used this slicer a couple of times with the various blades, it does struggle to cut through cured meat and not quiet. I had to slice all the meat during the day as I didn't want to disturb the neighbours with the noise. It does the job with some difficulty and mess. Doesn't stay in one place as the suction cups don't work. It's easy to change the blades. If you want something that "slices" through various cuts, this may not be the best option. Definitely needs a faster and more powerful motor. Consider spending a little more if you want a good quality slicer. I've been generous and given a 3 ☆ ★⭐ rating, couldn't do 2.5

  • Compact slicer

It slices roast meat . A medium sized , Cold roast beef . And if it does that then it will slice aything , it wont cut bone , it says so in the destructions . I cooked a roast and the next day used the slicer to cut thin slices of roast beef to freeze .I was happy with the result .Cleaning is a bit of a hassle but I'll only be using the slicer when I do a roast I have an electric knife for bread and not enough space to have the slicer on a bench so it's in the cupboard . It's compact enough to take out and use without upsetting the kitchen area . I would reccomend this slicer ,easy to operate and good results and for a reasonable price too .The blades are sharp so watch your fingers and dont lick them , the blades . You can lick your fingers if you want to .Suprisingly the blade dosent whizz round like a demnted squirel but turns a lot slower than you expect .The blade is coverd except for the cutting area so no danger of losing your fingers .But if you do you can put them on sticks and lick them independently

  • Very Handy Piece of kitchenware

This is my second electric food slicer the previous one giving up after a few years service. I find these machines remarkably useful in the kitchen as they can slice meat really really thin. So, if you are unlucky enough to have a tough Sunday roast, slicing it on this machine makes it tender as it is so thin. You can also slice bread if you so wish as two additional blades are included. We also us it for thinly slicing raw meat when preparing a yakiniku (chicken, beef etc.) The downside is they are a bit tedious to clean afterwards. I think if they rethought to design a little and made some of the parts click on and off, it would enhance the machine and make cleaning much easier. Overall, a great bit of kit, wouldnt be without it.

  • A nicer slicer

Ideal for domestic use. I keep the blade lubricated with a light spray of oil and its good to go through roasts of beef or gammon. It’s great to be able to select different thicknesses for the roast dinner or for sandwiches. I love it for what I use it for, purely domestic, but not for heavy duty business use.

  • Dont rush into buying one of these units

We purchased this in order to slice meats(cooked and raw) and hard cheese, we opted for this one as it came with 3 blades. The motor feels underpowered as it slows right down on fresh meat and hard cheese almost to the point it tears rather than cuts. The food ends up falling onto the work surface as the 4 suckers dont really stick to textured work tops. A couple of bespoke cleaning tools and a tool for removing the blade wouldnt go a miss. The food holder doesnt sit level with the blade, you can't cut a consistent thickness which is a major flaw for me. All in all basic cutter, frustrating to use.

  • Andrew James Black Electric Food & Meat Slicer 19cm Blade + 2 Extra Blades

Excellent product and absolutely fit for purpose. Whatever you're slicing be it bacon, meat, bread or whatever it is NEVER going to be easy to clean as it's quite a complex piece of electrical gadgetry but the pros far outweigh the cons and I wouldn't swap it for anything.
