it was more like a toy than a kitchen scales it

A mechanical scale that can actually measure normal quantities accurately
At last a simple set of scales for weighing normal things accurately. I can't imagine why most similar looking scales weigh up to 5 kg, but you can't easily read 100g. Small scales suitable for small lightweight weighing. - be ideal.
I purchased these scales as had a previous set which I used alot but lid has split, but this set the lid where you weigh your food isnt as big or as deep so very disappointed in this, plus you have to slide the lid onto the scale area not like the better older set I had but otherwise exactly same.
