Good strong flow of water

Quite disappointed in the performance for the Fluval brand
I bought this filter for a small tank - well within the recommended size for use. For filtering large debris it works well - the internal sponge filter catches the debris and it has a strong jet of water, but the tank always seems to have a lot of smaller particles floating around so the water is far from clear. Compare this to the Aqua One filter I had with a similar smaller tank its nowhere near as effective and a waste of money. I can't easily return this either now its been used under water so a waste of money. Disappointing as Fluval products I have used previously have always been very good for crystal clear water.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

well it works but it needs an extension on it to make it better I didnt return it as I used it or tried too, but it didnt work for me & the rubber suction are difficult to put on the back. but if you need one get it with an extension as the air bubbles come out better& it works better too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great filter for a 2ft or less tank
The build of the filter is good quality, it is very silent running too. Taking it apart is very easy to clean the sponge and the propeller comes out easily too. I would highly recommend this product.
